Rainforest Pavilion Pacific Northwest
We had over 20 Dj’s and over 300 attendees at our event in beautiful Beacon Hill Park which is located on the usceded Coast Salish Territory of the Lekwungen and WSANEC nations.
In partnership with Sierra Club BC, we brought attention to the massive deforestation rates on Vancouver Island which threatens much of the old growth forest and biodiversity in the region.
Thanks everyone who came out to support our first free Canadian public event. Located in beautiful Beacon Hill Park, our event was full of great music, dancing, picnics, bubbles, and a magical cello performance inspired by what’s left of the ancient forests on Vancouver Island.#stopoldgrowthlogging #vancouverislandbc

Wonderfruit
Our 3rd year at Wonderfruit festival. What a year.
The last installation at Wonderfruit festival was our biggest accomplishment. At the previous site we were working with an existing structure by Thai architect Duangrit Bunnag so we didn’t have to build the actual structure. This year we worked with designer Matteo Messervy and builder Mana Sarewong to build it from the ground up using bamboo and an open-plan design featuring nature as the backdrop. It was challenging, but also liberating. Also, the proceeds this year will also lead to the support of 404 hectares of forests. This is 100 times more land then previous efforts!
